Marrying Well (Audio)
I encourage parents to listen to this webinar. There is no magic formula for a relationship but the Botkins offer some sound advice as they share their own personal stories. I am not sold on a courtship as the world teaches—as it is just dating with chaperones, but rather using the principles of courting as explained by Geoffrey Botkins.
It’s dawning on families that “dating” leads to trouble, not dynamic marriages. But when we forsake the only tradition we know, we’re often left in a maze of unexplored territory. How do young people find each other and then discern the Lord’s will for marriage? What does it mean to “marry well”? Marrying Well provides parents much wisdom to shepherd their children through this realm of life.
While the Bible doesn’t offer a formula for getting to the altar, it has much to say about the maturity, vision, and love that make a marriage beautiful and powerful, from the very first day.
