When I was much younger, the days of journal writing or keeping notes were very sparse, I hardly did any. I AM A NEPHITE!
One of my favorite documentaries I have watched is called Nephites in Europe. It introduces us to a royal family in Northern Europe descending from a prince by the name of Nefi or Nephi. It also discusses how another Northern European tribe was known by a name that likely means the “people of Nephi.” From this documentary, I learned how the Nephites had traveled to Europe, beginning 60 years before Jesus Christ appeared to them! A TIME TO DANCE
As I have been learning more about who I am and my Israelite lineage—it has brought on a few personal changes in my life. One area I immediately felt drawn to learn more about was how my ancestors danced and used dance for everything. The scriptures talk about how the people would dance to rejoice, during times of hospitality and greeting one another, or at their festivals and feasts.
