“I love what I learn on Passing Down the Faith. Our family has been trying to be more intentional and to see things from the perspective of the Lord and building the Kingdom of God. I feel closer to Him when I gather my family and we seek Him in all areas of our lives, and that is what they are teaching on Passing Down the Faith. It is not just skills. It is integrated with why it is important. This site is life-changing.”

Heidi and I find your Passing Down the Faith site truly delightful. It speaks to me as evidence of how real families can pull together to create something incredible, even if they don't all "know" what to do. From the simplest steps, such as having dinner around the table, to your integration of natural gardening, you surprise and inspire me often! Thanks for letting us be a part of your journey!

“Passing Down the Faith is hands down my favorite blog and website. Not only has it inspired me to start gardening with my family in order to heal our land, more importantly, but this blog has also inspired my husband and me to seek out sacred principles in the scriptures in order to build our family according to God’s laws. We love the stories Julie shares along with her humor and good advice. She has valuable knowledge and wisdom to share, and I enjoy learning from her practical application of the scriptural principles in regards to gardening, health, family, the Holydays, and more!”

Passing Down the Faith is absolutely inspiring! The Smith family's journey from busy urban to farm life is so beautiful. These are such simple, profound and practical applications of returning to our nation’s and ancestor’s beginnings, connecting with God, family, and our land that have been sadly forgotten in modern society. I can attest from personal experience that your family will absolutely benefit from the example of the Smith family in returning to our roots and from the world. Our family has reincorporated the principle of sitting down at the table each night for dinner having a meaningful discussion, and what a difference it has made! It even has inspired us to get a large enough table to fit our married children around. We have also been inspired to expand our garden and raise animals as a family, as well as study more of our pioneer ancestors and connect with them.
