    I WANT THEM TO KNOW

    If according to Alma, what we see (and hear) affects our thinking, and what we think is what we become, then does it matter what we do in our homes for design or what is put upon the walls of our homes? Absolutely! (See Alma 37:35.)  When beginning the transformation of our new house to that of a ‘heavenly’ home it was my desire to use my home to share a message to my grandchildren, and all who entered.     CREATING A ‘NEW’ HOUSE OF ORDER

    There are so many voices out there, and so many ‘experts’, but no free thinkers. Everybody is on their own path all while the home front is falling apart. It seems like many good people are just focused on themselves becoming sanctified but forgetting it is not just about us, it is also about what goes on in our homes and on lands, too.     PREPARING FOR THE FEAST OF DEDICATION

    Another year of candle lighting, fried bread, and 8 nights of singing has come to an end! Oh, how we love Hanukkah! This truly has become our all-time family favorite feast! We look forward each year to a new theme and to be taught spiritually each night with small family devotionals. Hanukkah is called the Feast of Dedication because it celebrates the Maccabees’ victory over Greek oppression and the rededication of the Temple in Jerusalem.
